Crawling? Maybe??

By now we all know that Ryan LOVES his Boppy time!
Thanks to his Sissy he now LOVES memory foam!

Today Ryan took his first ‘steps’ toward crawling!!
He pushed himself up and over the Boppy!!!!

He didn’t stop until ALL of his body was on the memory foam matress!
As far as I’m concerened I’m calling this a First!

We are also working on our Bumbo skills.

He wasn’t as upset with the Bumbo this evening when he figured out
he could watch the television also!

Well that is until he realized  again that he wasn’t being held!

Ruff Night

We had a very rough night! Ryan’s tummy is yucky
and we’ve both had very little sleep!

Gammy came to our rescue today and watched
Ryan as Mommy ran errands.

Then Gammy and Daddy let Mommy take a LOONG afternoon nap while Ryan helped Gammy with her school work.

First Revival/Super Bowl

Our little man is just about too cute to handle!!!

He visited Gammy’s church again this morning and attended his first Revival service.

He still loves the music. . . .

And is beyond great during the preaching.

Ryan also experienced his first Super Bowl!

He was amazed at all the commercials!

He was also confused at all his Sissy’s yelling!

I love this picture! I can only imagine what he will talk his Sissy into
when he is older! He already has her number!!

All Over Town

We’ve been a little bit of everywhere today!

We went lock shopping with Gammy.We learned that it takes an act of congress to get locks keyed the same at the hardware store!!

We watched Gammy complete taxes while
Daddy  installed the locks.

Most importantly we met the Puppies at Gammy’s house!!!Loose Nut (aka bolt) wasn’t too keen on sharing his mommy!

Nor his Sissy!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. N!!

Ryan celebrated a very special birthday today! He missed seeing Dr. N on
wed but promised that he could come to her birthday lunch today.

Once again he caused a small spectacle!

Of course Aunt Net was at the head of it!

We can’t fault her too much. She did prescreen those who touched him! If they hadn’t recently washed their hands they did before she allowed them near our boy!

I know I say this time and time again. . .

but. . . . . . 

we are very blessed with Dean’s employment!!

I have to admit I’m horrible with names but I know each of you by your faces!! With any luck Ryan will have his daddy's smarts and will be able to remember many more names than his mommy!!

Speaking of the munchkin. . . He sat in his Bumbo for the first time this evening.
Needless to say. . . it didnt go to terribly well!!

He did well untill he realized that no one was holding him. At that point all bets were off!!

Thankfully Auntie Lesha came to the rescue!!!

His fuzzy brother throught he needed to be swaddled overnight.
I couldnt resist taking a picture!!

Ouchy!!

Ryan had his weekly pediatrician visit today. His weight is up! H
e now weighs 7lbs 4oz and 19 ¼ inches!!

He is on a medication that affects his electrolyte levels and often has the levels checked. Today was the lytes check. Our good luck with blood draws at the peds office ran out today.

Poor little guy had to get stuck in both arms and his blood/veins still didn’t cooperate.

They ultimately used blood from a heel stick to check his electrolytes. The clinic is great about calling and letting us know what is levels are. Today our call wasn’t so great.

His potassium level on the draw was over 7! That is crazy high! Dr. S said that he felt it was probably due to type of blood they drew but we needed to have it rechecked.we opted to head on up to children’s today to have it redrawn.Four sticks later his potassium levels are perfectly normal!!!

If ever I needed ‘ouch’ cream it was sure today. . . .

Thankfully Ryan was happy with his kick piano!!

Speaking of Ham!!

We made a very impromptu visit to ortho today! Ryan’s great grandma
hurt her hip and he helped her to her doctor’s appointment.

This was his First trip to meet all of the ladies at ortho and they came out to see him in full force. We were somewhat of a spectacle in the lobby!! Once again we are in trouble!
He sure knows how to work a room full of women!!

Ryan then ‘Hammed’ it up at dinner that night!

He had a fascination with Sissy’s
ranch dip and didn’t give up until he had turned it over on her plate.

He was also a bit overwhelmed.

He LOVES to the pictures change on TVs.

Needless-to-stay at Applebee’s he was a bit sensory overloaded.......

 as he was surrounded by them!!
