We’ve had a very nice day with Ryan! He did well with his physical therapy. He has been very gassy today and that took a toll on his bottle feeding today.
He did take 5mls with his physical therapist today. She taught us a few “tricks” to help Ryan along.
We learned how to hold his head so that it is easier to swallow with gravity
And also how to bring his cheeks forward and jaw lifted!

He was very tuckered after his bottle feed that he slept nearly up until the exact hour of his next feeding!
Ryan enjoyed a very long nap in Mommy’s arms this evening. It was pretty bitter sweet this afternoon. Tonight will be out last night to room in. There are several little ones who are set to go home in the next few days so we are moving across the hall and will meet our new roommates in the morning.
Daddy came by and had dinner with us this evening. He helped Mommy with Ryan’s diaper change. I’m sure Ryan was pretty confused when Daddy changed his diaper on top of the pillow atop the bedside table!
Ryan wore his first newborn diaper tonight! It is completely! Swallowing him whole!!
Daddy also helped with Ryan’s weight this evening.He gained 30 grams and weighed 1700 grams!!That is 3lbs 12oz!!!!
We are settling down for the night! Gammie will be back after work to help Mommy “tag” team the munchkin tonight!
