Ryan had a pretty good night. This morning his nurse attempted to problem solve why he isn’t taking to the bottle. She used several different types of nipples with him this morning and discovered that he took the nuk nipple the best. The only thing was that by the time they figured that out he had taken 25mls of formula and was completely tuckered!!
She also said that she was going to try him on an ‘ad lib’ schedule. Basically he will eat approximately every 4 hours and see if that won’t help to kick his little body in gear to take his bottles!
We made it up to the hospital just in time to watch Karen work with our little man.
She works on his bottle feedings daily!
We spent some quality Mommy/Ryan time this afternoon. Mommy was
even able to finish a little bit of 12 Days work while he rested!

I really have no clue when his light bulb will FINALLY come on but I’m beyond ready! It's hard because after months of having a 'sick' baby now there is nothing medically wrong with him. Dr. B still says that Ryan will not need a button so until then we will sittin’ still in the NICU at Baptist.
