Ryan’s Weight was up 50grams today. He is currently at 2465 grams! That is 5lbs 6oz!!Today Dr. B wrote our official “if all continues to go well” discharge date!! We are set to go home on Friday!!! He also changed Ryan’s formula to a soy based formula to see if we could get all of his gas/ gas pains under control. Dr. B was excited with Ryan’s progress he ‘tip-toed’ out of the room so he wouldn’t ‘disturb’ his progress.
We received even better news right before shift change. There is a statewide shortage on monitoring equipment BUT they secured us a monitor on Tuesday!!!!! Tomorrow they just need to finish scheduling all of our follow up appointments!
Several of our good NICU friends went home this week. Our last buddy left this afternoon. It was so exciting watching them drive away from the hospital!!
It is almost our Turn!!!!
